Developers, we want to make your life easy. Really easy. So today we’re releasing three major updates to Sendwithus API Keys, just for you.
Multiple API Keys
You can create and manage as many API Keys as you need. Each API Key can have a unique name, specific to its use case and environment.
To get started, visit the API Settings page and click ‘Create New API Key’. Your existing keys will already be set up in your account.
Catch-All API Keys
These new API Keys let you direct all email sends to a single email address. We use them internally for development, and we love them so much we wanted to offer them to everyone. They’re great for testing and QA environments, especially when you want to send test emails but don’t want to accidentally spam your customers.
Here’s a quick screenshot showing how to create one on the API Settings Page:
Verification Keys
We’re also excited about our new verification keys. These keys behave exactly like Production API Keys, except they will never send an email.
They’re great for environments that need to make Sendwithus API calls, but where email is not the focus. We use them internally when we’re working on parts of the product that don’t involve transactional email.
